Meet the Doctor

Dr. Prasad is your local, Long Beach Optometrist. He was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of California San Diego. From there, he went on to receive his Optometry Degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry.

Dr. Prasad decided to return to the Southern California area and begin his own private practice here at Long Beach Family Optometry over 10 years ago. He is a member of the California Optometric Association, American Optometric Association and The American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control.

Dr. Prasad was voted Favorite Optometrist 2016 Readers Choice Award by the Press Telegram

In his free time Dr.Prasad enjoys spending time with his beautiful family!
